Biography

Michael Schnieders is an associate professor in the Roy J. Carver Department of Biomedical Engineering and the Department of Biochemistry. In addition to directing the Computational Biomolecular Engineering Lab, he is a researcher at the Iowa Technology Institute, the Center for Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, the Institute for Vision Research, and the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center. He is an affiliate of the University of Iowa Genetics Cluster Initiative and the Iowa Informatics Initiative. He is also a member of the Biophysical Society and the American Chemical Society.
